Careers as a Sun King Energy Officer
Sun King’s Field Sales Officers are the friendly face of Sun King in the communities that we serve. Field Sales Executives are responsible for selling, delivering, installing, and servicing Sun King products across the breadth of Zambia. Join Africa’s biggest solar solutions supplier and start a rewarding career providing homes and businesses with access to reliable electricity.
As an Energy Officer you will earn the following benefits:

What Do You Need to Become an Energy Officer?
You must:
- Be over 18 years old
- Have a valid national registered card/ ID card
- Be highly motivated by solar power and Sun King’s products
- Value integrity, honesty, and take pride in your work
- Have great communication skills

Careers as a Sun King Solar Inverter System Installer
Sun King Solar Inverter System Installers are the backbone of our solar inverter business. They are responsible for helping our customers understand which of Sun King’s solar inverter systems are right for their needs, and for setting our solar inverter systems up in homes and businesses.
Sun King powers over 25 million homes around the world. Becoming a Sun King Installer unlocks the potential to increase your sales by growing your business alongside Zambia’s most popular supplier of solar solutions to homes and businesses. You’ll have the opportunity to earn through carrying out installations and also by selling solar inverter systems on our behalf.
What Do You Need to Become an Installer?
You must:
- Be knowledgeable and have two or more years experience in solar hybrid inverter installation and commissioning
- Have a background in electrical engineering
- Have a valid ERB and EIZ License
- Be an excellent problem solver
- Be open, warm, and good at dealing with people
- Be enthusiastic about connecting people to clean, reliable, and safe solar power
- Have access to a reliable form of transport
- Be over 18 years old
- Have a valid statutory ID card
